While the house is located in the center of Amsterdam, logistics are excellent. From the A10 ring road, it can be reached easily by using the Overtoom (Schiphol Airport is some 20 minutes by taxi; the central train station only 5 minutes).

Parking in front of the house (on weekends) or within the same block is typically available, and a parking permit or nearby parking garage could be arranged. A boat can be parked permanently in front of the house at a small yearly fee (city tax).

Trams 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 9, 10, 12, 13, 14, 16, 17, 24 and 25 stop within 500 meters of the house, and many buses do as well. Most stores, restaurants and forms of entertainment are so close that walking will be preferred over biking in most cases.
